The transition ministry office supports congregations and clergy in times of leadership transitions through providing resources, equipping lay leaders, and assisting clergy who are in discernment about a call to new ministry.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING

Clergy interested in being considered for a particular position should send the following documents to the Rev. Kristin Krantz by email:  kkrantz@episcopalmaryland.org.  

• A letter addressed to the Search Committee in which the candidate offers a self-introduction and describes why they feel drawn into discernment around this particular position 
• A current resume 
• A pdf of the candidate’s current Office of Transition Ministries Portfolio 

Congregations sometimes request additional materials, please check their websites and job postings for full details.  

The Transition Minister does an initial screening of all candidates prior to forwarding applications to the Search Committee.
