Deanery Leadership Meetings

Bishop Carrie is introducing five deaneries to the diocese and each of them has a leader called a dean who will act as her deputy to connect the congregations so they can be better supported.

This is a trial for about 3 years and will run in conjunction with the regions because currently that is how the Diocesan Council gets its members.

Northern/Susquehanna Deanery (Dean: The Rev. Joe Zollickoffer, Holy Trinity, Churchville)
Sunday, February 1, 2:30 – 4:00 PM – Leadership Meeting (Lay & Clergy)

Central/Monocacy/Piedmont Plateau Deanery (Dean: The Rev. Catherine Thompson, All Saints’, Frederick)
Sunday, March 8, 2:30 – 4:00 PM – Leadership Meeting (Lay & Clergy)

Baltimore/Patapsco Deanery (Dean: The Rev. Chris Pyles, Grace and St. Peter’s, Baltimore)
Sunday, March 15, 2:30 – 4:00 PM – Leadership Meeting (Lay & Clergy)

Mountain/Potomac Deanery (Dean: The Rev. Scott Rieker, Emmanuel, Cumberland & St. George’s, Mount Savage)
Sunday, May 3, 3:00 – 4:30 PM – Leadership Meeting (Lay & Clergy)

Southern/Chesapeake Deanery (Dean: The Rev. Joe Walker-Lenow, St. James’, Lothian)
