Appeal Kickoff: Easter, 2023
Weekends: April 16, April 23, April 30, May 7
When we work together as a faith community, we are sharing in God’s community of love.
Together we can raise the funds needed for our collective Appeal Ministries, by actively promoting Appeal Weekend to your congregation.
We are asking each of our clergy to share the needs of our appeal ministries with their congregation one weekend between April 16 and May 7, 2022. To help in promoting the Appeal, your development team has put together several resources and tool to help. Below you will find a sample homily, email, bullet announcements, social media post and even a sample script for your use. All resources can be freely use and edited to meet your needs.
This year, when one of your congregants makes a gift to the appeal, 15% of their gift will be shared with your church to benefit your ministry.
Thank you for your willingness to share in our community of love by introducing the Bishop’s Annual Ministries Appeal to your congregation.
